Quick News From Liberia
Pastor James Dehnue visited Reunion 2010 in Lowell, Massachusetts. He was in the USA for a conference and the Reunion appreciated that he could take off time to come and just make a representation on behalf of the Liberia General Superintendent Charles Barwon. His inputs to how the Reunion can work with the Liberia Open Bible Churches were very helpful.
It was revealed at Reunion 2010 that the Liberia Open Bible Churches will be having a grand memorial service sometimes in November for missionaries and members of the Open Bible field in Liberia who have gone home to be with the Lord.
Pastor Dehnue also did reveal that the number of Open Bible Churches in Liberia has increased as a result of aggressive evangelism and church planting. More details will be forthcoming soon.
He did state that every effort of the Reunion has been appreciated by the Liberia Office. This was the time to work closely together to make sure that the sacrifices of the missionaries live on through them and us.
